A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT Dear Members and Friends of the One Hundred, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 18th Annual Dr. Roscoe C. Brown & Christopher E. Bennett Golf Classic—a signature event that reflects the enduring legacy of One Hundred Black Men, Inc. (OHBM) as we celebrate over 60 years of service, leadership, and impact in our communities. Last year’s Golf Classic centered around a vital theme: BLACK HEALTH MATTERS. It was designed to highlight key health issues impacting our communities, recognize extraordinary individuals and partners, and empower our youth through the transformative game of golf. We shined a well-deserved spotlight on one of our most dedicated members, Christopher E. Bennett, and this year we are proud to have renamed the Classic to The Dr. Roscoe C. Brown & Christopher Bennett Golf Classic & Daycation. Chris’s zeal was a catalyst for moving the Golf Classic to new heights. In spite of all things, he has come out fighting to ensure the Golf scholarship continues to move upward and onward, for this we continue to celebrate his extraordinary leadership and service. Day 1: Community Day. A special occasion dedicated to our beloved seniors. We invite them to experience the beauty of Ardsley while engaging with our BLACK WEALTH MATTERS programming—an initiative promoting financial literacy, empowerment, and legacy building. We will have our first Fraternal / Sorority Challenge. Day 2: Member Day filled with Golf and dedicated to personal wholeness with our DayCation, focusing on preserving our inner peace. Day 3: Junior One Hundred Day will be held in Peekskill, NY at Resorts World, our community partner on Tuesday, August 12th --- a powerful opportunity for youth in our programs to explore the sport, a program created through the PGA “Make Golf Your Thing” initiative. We are deeply grateful to the PGA of America and Resorts World for their partnership and continued investment in the next generation of leaders. As we look back on over the decades of impactful service, we recognize that none of this would be possible without your steadfast support. Your generosity, mentorship, and belief in our mission have empowered countless young scholars, uplifted communities, and kept the flame of progress burning bright. We are inspired every day by the resilience and brilliance of our youth and remain committed to nurturing their potential. Whether you are playing in the tournament or joining us for DayCation events, we hope this will bring moments of connection and inspiration. Your financial support remains critical in helping us expand vital programs like the Junior One Hundred and continue awarding scholarships to deserving students. Together, we are building a future rooted in hope, opportunity, and collective excellence. Finally, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to this year’s exceptional Golf Classic leadership team: Co-Chairs Derrick Barnes, Christopher Bennett, and Frederick Davis, Jr. Your vision, dedication, and tireless work have elevated this event to new heights, establishing it as one of New York’s premier gatherings. To your entire committee—thank you for your excellence and unwavering commitment. With deepest appreciation, Robert B. Brown Robert B.
