A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT Dear Members and Friends of the One Hundred, I extend a warm welcome to our 17th Annual Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. Golf Classic, a momentous occasion for One Hundred Black Men, Inc. (OHBM) as we celebrate over 60 years of service to the community. This year, our golf classic will span three incredible days focused on the theme BLACK HEALTH MATTERS. Each day will bring to the forefront health issues affecting our community, honor remarkable individuals and partners, while fostering the growth of our youth through the sport of golf. Day 1 will be a special community day, where we invite seniors to enjoy the atmosphere of Ardsley and take part in our BLACK HEALTH MATTERS program. On Day 2, we will shine a spotlight on one of our outstanding members, Christopher E. Bennett. Chris’ contributions to OHBM have been extraordinary, and his unwavering commitment to our mission has had a profound impact on our organization and the communities we serve. I along with all our members take this moment to honor and celebrate his remarkable achievements. Finally, Day 3 will be dedicated to our Junior One Hundred Challenge, a remarkable opportunity for young participants in our youth program to learn about the business and sport of golf under the guidance of the PGA program, “Make Golf Your Thing.” We are grateful to the PGA of America for their continued support and for nurturing this valuable partnership that empowers our youth and introduces them to the world of golf. As we reflect on our 60+ year journey, we acknowledge the invaluable support and dedication of each member, partner, and friend of OHBM. Your selfless acts of service, mentorship, and scholarship distribution have touched countless lives and transformed communities. We are immensely proud of our young scholars and the indomitable spirit they embody. May they continue to shine brightly and make a lasting impact on the world, always cherishing their heritage as they embrace their future. Whether you participate in the golf tournaments or attend our DayCation events, we hope that these three days will be filled with remarkable drives and cherished putts. Your continued financial contributions enable OHBM to expand and enhance our pro- grams, including the Junior One Hundred, and provide scholarships to those in need. Together, let us forge ahead, united in our mission to create a better world. Finally, I extend my utmost appreciation to the exceptional leadership of this year’s Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. Golf Classic, namely Co-chairs Derrick Barnes, Christopher Bennett, and Frederick Davis, Jr. Your meticulous planning and tireless efforts have elevated our golf outing to unprecedented levels, positioning it as one of the premier events in the State of New York. The dedication and expertise of your committee are unparalleled, and I am truly grateful for your remarkable contributions. With deepest appreciation, Robert B. Brown Robert B. Brown President
