John L. Mackey is the Regional Vice President (“RVP”) of Enterprise Holdings for Long Island. In this role, John is responsible for his region’s growth, revenue, cost control initiatives, fleet planning, and increasing the market share within his territory, which currently spans over 50 car rental locations, covering Nassau/Suffolk Counties of Long Island, Queens, and LaGuardia Airport. As RVP, John strives to create an inclusive culture while advancing the employee development and personnel initiatives of his 450+ employees. After graduating from Morehouse College in 2005 with his B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, John commenced his career with Enterprise Hold- ings in Chicago, Illinois. Quickly receiving several promo- tions throughout the Chicagoland area, John was promoted to Wisconsin as a Group Rental Manager in 2015. Upon John’s arrival, the Wisconsin groups worldwide ranking was #77 of 77. By 2018, under John’s leadership, Wisconsin experienced record-breaking performance, finishing #1 out of all worldwide operating groups, and, consequently, John was promoted to his current role as RVP on Long Island. A modern-day company man, recently celebrating 18 years with the only company he has ever worked for, John is proud of all that he has achieved while remaining true to himself. Throughout his career, John has unabashed- ly showcased his dedication to advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. He has served on the North American Diversity/Career Family Focus Team for Enterprise Hold- ings, overseeing the creation of numerous diversity teams and programs that are designed to educate on DE&I while creating a culture where everyone feels respected, valued, and has a sense of belonging. John has always believed in giving back to his community and has either been an active member or sat on the board of various organizations in his hometown of Chicago, as well as his adopted cities of Atlanta, Milwaukee, and NYC, including the United Way, Urban League, LI Cares, One Hundred Black Men, and former school and scholarship programs. John is married to his beautiful wife Raven, and they are the proud parents of Reese and John Jr. In his leisure time, John enjoys golfing, travel, and spending time with friends and family. John L.
