March 19, 2024 Dear President Enis, It is with great honor that I write to One Hundred Black Men (OHBM), Inc. of New York, in celebration of your 44th Annual Benefit Gala! For years, OHBM has worked tirelessly to improve our communities by mentoring future generations, supporting education through mentoring and scholarships, fostering economic empowerment, and improving health and wellness outcomes through information and screenings. These service pillars have helped OHBM capitalize on the collective power of the community, address issues of inequities, and empower African Americans to become agents of change in their communities. Your sacrifices have inspired others to understand the value of self- determination to achieve a life worth living. I wish to congratulate this year’s corporate, civic, and community honorees who are helping to build a legacy of service including Melanie Littlejohn Vice President, Customer, Community, & External Affairs, NYS, National Grid; Robert C. Garrett Co-CEO, Hackensack Meridian Health; Melonie Parker Chief Diversity Officer, Google; Marvin Krislov President Pace University. These distinguished individuals are proven leaders in their respective careers and are extraordinary humanitarians.
