DISTRICT ATTORNEY COUNTY OF NEW YORK ONE HOGAN PLACE New York, N. Y. 10013 (212) 335-9000 ALVIN L. BRAGG, JR. DISTRICT ATTORNEY March 19, 2024 Aldrin K. Enis, President One Hundred Black Men of New York 2601 Frederick Douglas Blvd New York, N.Y. 10030 Dear President Enis, It is with great honor that I write to One Hundred Black Men (OHBM), Inc. of New York, in celebration of your 44th Annual Benefit Gala. For years, OHBM has uplifted our communities by mentoring future generations, supporting education through scholarships and founding of the Eagle Academy, fostering economic empowerment, and improving health and wellness outcomes through information sharing and screenings. These service pillars have helped OHBM capitalize on the collective power of community, address issues of inequities, and empower African Americans to become agents of change in their own neighborhoods. I have witnessed your impact, firsthand, as the Manhattan District Attorney's Office supported your annual reentry fair with donations of suits, coats, and other clothing to help men transitioning from incarceration or just trying to get back on their feet. Congratulations to this year's corporate, civic, and community honorees who are helping to build a legacy of service including Robert C. Garrett, Co-CEO, Hackensack Meridian Health; Marvin Krislov, President of Pace University; Melanie Littlejohn, Vice President of Customer, Community, & External Affairs for New York State at National Grid; and Melonie Parker, Chief Diversity Officer at Google. I also want to salute this year's honorary co-chairs, Roger G. Arrieux Jr., New York Managing Partner Deloitte; Sandy Cross, Chief People Officer at the Professional Golfers' Association of America; and John L. Mackey, Regional Vice President at Enterprise Mobility, for their ongoing support of the work of OHBM. Finally, I would like to especially acknowledge President Enis, Executive Director Erik Cliette, gala co-chairs Robert Brown and Jermaine Huell, the gala committee, and all of OHBM's members for your hard work and dedication over these many years. Sincerely, Alvin L. Bragg, Jr.
