Over the years, OHBM has been a beacon of hope and progress in our communities, dedicating itself to mentoring our youth, supporting education through scholarships, promoting economic empowerment, and enhancing health and wellness through various initiatives. Your unwavering commitment to these pillars of service has not only strengthened the bonds within our community but has also empowered African Americans to take charge of their destinies and drive positive change in our society. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to this year's corporate, civic, and community honorees, whose contributions are shaping a brighter future for us all. Melanie Littlejohn, Vice President, Customer, Community, & External Affairs, NYS, National Grid; Robert C. Garrett, Co-CEO, Hackensack Meridian Health; Melonie Parker, Chief Diversity Officer, Google; and Marvin Krislov, President, Pace University, exemplify true leadership and compassion, and their impact extends far beyond their professional endeavors. Additionally, I commend Sandy Cross, Roger G Arrieux Jr., and John L. Mackey for their invaluable support as honorary co-chairs of this remarkable event. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the remarkable efforts of President Enis, Executive Director Erik Cliette, gala co-chairs Robert Brown and Jermaine Huell, and the entire gala committee. Your dedication and hard work have been instrumental in making OHBM's mission a reality, and I am profoundly grateful for your unwavering commitment. As your representative in the New York State Assembly, I stand with you in celebrating this momentous occasion and look forward to witnessing the continued impact of OHBM in our communities for years to come.
